Interview with Chris Bailey

Interview with Chris Bailey

Imagine that you take a whole year to become as productive as possible.

This is exactly what Chris Bailey did.

Last year in May, after he graduated from Carleton University, he had declined two full-time job offers and had started living a year of productivity.

The scope of his productivity project included: interviewing people, running productivity experiments on himself, and reading as many books as possible.

Chris wrote about everything he learned on his website A Year of Productivity (AYOP).

AYOP has received national and international media attention, and Chris has concluded his productivity year with TED talk about his project.

He started from nothing, and managed to grow his website to over 100,000 hits per month!

Chris has just finished with his year of productivity, so I’ve decide to interview him to hear what his future plan is, and to ask him about the best productivity strategies he has learned.

I really enjoyed talking with Chris, and I strongly suggest you listen to interview with him, where you will learn:

  • 2 things that you need to manage every day if you want to be productive (many people try to manage just their time and forget to manage these two important things)
  • Surprising strategy you can use when scheduling important tasks
  • What is best to do when you feel low level of energy
  • Why meditation is important and how it can help you be more productive
  • How many hours of productive work you should have daily
  • Which productivity tools to use and the most important things to pay attention to when choosing a productivity tool
